I found that I have a super power. It's really quite amazing. It showed up after M.D. was born. Not immediately after, but soon after. Nowadays I don't even notice it unless I stop to really pay attention. My superpower? I can do ANYTHING at approximately 1,000 times the speed that I used to do it.
I can't even imagine the time I could have saved had I been utilizing this super power pre-M.D.
Some examples?
Showering. I can honestly say that I have the ability to take the world's fastest shower. In fact, that's a code name we use in our house. If Steven or I need to shower, but M.D. is still awake and there's 100 things left to get done, we use the term "world's fastest shower" to describe what we are going to do. It gives the other person a sense of comfort that they won't be going it alone for long and that the other person isn't using the excuse, "I have to take a shower" to get a long relaxing break from the chaos of the house. So we say, "I'm going to take a shower...world's fastest". That always leads to a nod of approval and on we go with the evening. I honestly think I took THE world's fastest shower (that still involved a fully clean person at the end) last night. M.D. decided he was exhausted from daycare and wanted to take a nap at 4:00pm. Normally, this does not fly. However, Steven wasn't going to be home from work until almost 7pm and I needed to shower, make dinner, and entertain the baby. If he wanted a nap, he was getting one. After getting ALL other chores done, I realized I still MIGHT have time for a shower. I turned the monitor up as high as it can go and jumped in. Less than 5 minutes later I was ready for whatever the evening had to bring. M.D. woke up about 30 seconds after I got out. Perfect timing.
Cleaning. I used to take FOREVER to pick up our house. The process would start every night when I got home from work. I'd dilly-dally around, pick up a few things, sit down, watch T.V., get up, pick up a few things, make dinner, relax, the process would take all evening, but that was okay. I really didn't have that much to pick up back then, come to think of it. In this current reality I can pick up the house before you can recite the alphabet. It's almost a work-out. I fly from room to room seamlessly picking up categories of objects: dirty dishes, dirty clothes, clean toys, dirty toys, etc, etc, etc. and dropping them in their correct location: dishwasher, sink, hamper, toy box, etc, etc, etc. until everything is in its place. BAM!
Prepare food. This mainly relates to M.D.'s food. I can make a bottle in about 1/10th the time it used to take, prepare a bowl of baby food w/ whatever "sides" he is having for dinner, AND prepare our dinner very, very quickly. Some people (without kids) may wonder what the rush is? Let me tell you what a hungry baby sounds like. You will appreciate whatever speed you can conjure up to make that sound last as short of a time as possible. Trust me.

Upcoming...
I scheduled M.D.'s 9 month doctor's appointment. Whoa. That is pretty unreal. He will soon have been on this earth as long as he was in my belly...which felt like FOREVER at the time :)
Here's a look at how far he's come :)
